Give someone else the schedule

A wedding planner lets you spend your day being the couple getting married. If full planning isn’t what you need, ask about coordination closer to the wedding and clarify exactly what that support includes.

Agree on who handles questions, vendor arrivals and changes to the schedule. Introduce that person to your photographer before the day. When someone else is keeping track of the details, you have more room to laugh, cry, greet your friends and notice what is happening around you. Those are the moments I want to photograph.
