Be ready without waiting for everyone else

If you are having hair and makeup done with a group, discuss your place in the schedule with the beauty team. In my book, I suggest having the bride ready first so someone else’s touch-up doesn’t hold up her photographs. Agree on the order that gives you enough time to get dressed and be ready when your photographer needs you.

If you are getting ready away from the venue, consider transportation that lets you leave when you are ready. You shouldn’t have to wait for the entire group to finish before you can begin your own day. Share the plan with everyone involved beforehand.
