Grandma Has Something to Say
The bride’s grandmother is the star of one of my favorite guest photographs. I don’t remember whom she was scolding, but I spotted this moment while walking around cocktail hour with a long lens. I’m usually looking for laughter and smiles; this expression was too good to miss. I love the old camera on the table, too. I later used the photograph in an ad with a line along the lines of, ‘Don’t let your grandmother find out you’re not using Robert Evans.’ Photography by Robert Evans Imagery.
