Want your wedding featured? Tell your photographer early
Plan time to photograph the details as well as the people.
If you hope to submit your wedding to a magazine or wedding blog, mention it during planning. In my book, I emphasize photographing the details: the whole room, closer views of flowers and table settings, and the personal touches that make the celebration yours.
Give your photographer time and access before guests arrive, and explain the stories behind anything especially meaningful. Publication isn’t guaranteed, but those photographs have value either way. They help you remember the thought and care that went into the day, alongside the people who filled it.
