Think about the light in your reception room

When planning the reception, talk about lighting as well as flowers and linens. Gentle uplighting can bring out a room’s architecture, while focused light can draw attention to a table arrangement or another detail you love.

Include your photographer in the conversation with your planner and lighting team. Explain the feeling you want, whether that is warm and intimate or lively and dramatic. Thoughtful light gives the room depth and helps the photographs hold on to its atmosphere.
