After “I do,” take a moment together
Before greeting everyone else, give yourselves a few minutes.
When you reach the end of the aisle, consider continuing a little farther to a quiet place together. Arrange it with your photographer beforehand so those first minutes can be photographed from a comfortable distance.
You might laugh, catch your breath or simply look at each other and realize you are married. There is no required pose and nothing you need to say. A few unhurried minutes can give you a memory of your own before you return to the celebration.
